Our Little Kitchen Cooking Class has begun! This week, we read "Pancakes for Breakfast" and made our own pancakes from scratch! The students learned to categorize dry and wet ingredients and to use measuring cups and spoons. Their faces were filled with amazement as they watched their pancake batter bubble up on the hot griddle! Follow our little chefs on their journey through "Foods from our Favorite Books" series! We got the new paint colors and we were so excited. Adding some fluorescent colors gave more dynamics to the activity! Using the cardboard scraps as the paint brushes gave more movements to the work. These two buddies almost gave up their snack time for this experiment!
