To explore the art and culture of Asia, we did cherry blossom painting. It came out awesome and even the children were surprised at their own work! All we needed were straws, tissue papers, and black paint. Isn't it amazing? We had so much fun!
Asia theme has started in May and The Great Wall of China was our first project about he theme. We looked at the pictures and then decided to start making our own Great Wall. After building a long Wall with the wooden blocks from one end of the classroom to the other end, the children understood the Wall needed persistance, teamwork, a lot of time and effort. The children danced with joy after completing their masterpiece. They were so excited about their work and wanted to invite the parents and show them at the dismissal. |
