September: Building Foundations
September Newsletter:
During Grace and Courtesy time, the children have begun learning the basic rules they need for school life. A small example would be that inside the school, they wear indoor shoes as part of our daily routine. In terms of social rules, one agreement is that instead of using their bodies or whining, children are encouraged to use words to express what they need or want. These are the kinds of small but important things they are beginning to learn step by step.
In Art, we are starting with material exploration. The children will observe and experience how different materials have unique properties and textures, and how they can be expressed in various ways.
Our project work will begin in October, and we will share the topic with you soon.
At the orientation, Oliver’s mom, Grace, kindly accepted to help with parent support. So this year, we’ve asked her to take on more of the parent coordinating work. I hope this will be an opportunity for joyful communication and collaboration to make the best learning environment for the children. For matters related to this, Grace will be reaching out to you. We’ve also asked her help in planning the schedule for the parts of school activities you’d like to participate in, so you can coordinate that together.

It is truly encouraging to see them becoming more comfortable and confident each day. We sincerely appreciate the continued support and partnership of our parents as we move forward together.
