June: Becoming and Remembering

Dear Little Atelier Families,
As we step into the final month of our school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for being part of our journey.
Looking Back on May,
May was filled with exploration, creativity, and meaningful moments together. The children continued to investigate, create, build friendships, and discover new ways of expressing their ideas. We are always amazed by the curiosity, imagination, and growth we witness each day.
June Project: Our School, Little Atelier
This month, we are turning our attention to something very familiar and very special—our own school.
Together, we will revisit photographs, stories, projects, and memories from throughout the year. Through conversations and reflections, we will invite the children to think about their experiences at Little Atelier.
Some of the questions we will be exploring include:
Where is your favorite place in the school?
What does this photo make you think about?
What would you like to do again?
What do you enjoy playing with your friends?
Do you remember making this?
What was something funny that happened here?
We are excited to see what stories emerge as the children gather pieces of their experiences and reflect on their year together.
Announcements:
Juneteenth: The school will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
Summer Program: Our 7-week Summer Program will be from July 1st through August 14th.
2026 Art Show: Throughout the month of June, the Art Show will continue by appointment according to the scheduled times. We look forward to welcoming each family to experience the children's artistic journey from this school year.
Graduation Celebration: Our Graduation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 24th at 10:00 AM.
Following the ceremony, we will enjoy a potluck celebration with our Little Atelier families. A menu sign-up form will be sent separately. Once you receive the link, please take a moment to fill it out so we can coordinate our shared feast. We look forward to celebrating, sharing food, and making one last special memory together before summer begins. 😊
We look forward to spending the summer together through art, play, discovery, and meaningful experiences. More details about supplies will be shared in a separate email soon.
Thank you for walking alongside us throughout this school year. From September to June, it has been a joy and privilege to watch the children grow, learn, and flourish.
