December: Warm Gatherings
🍂 November:
November was a wonderfully busy month.
As we wrapped up the fall season, the leaves you collected and sent in were dried and flattened beautifully and became the perfect materials for our Leaf Mobiles. The colors and textures worked so well, and we hope it was a great addition to your Thanksgiving decorations.
We also completed The Cherishing Heart Project. Through this project, the children explored what it means to cherish—what feelings they hold close, how they express that care through actions, and how valuing something or someone ultimately connects to valuing themselves.
Thanks to the thoughtful work you completed at home, the final book we are publishing will be rich, meaningful, and full of the children’s unique voices.
In addition, our Parent-Teacher Conferences were incredibly meaningful. Meeting with each of you allowed us to gain deeper insight into your children, and we are truly grateful for the time you took to join us.
❄️ December:
After moving full speed through the fall, it’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the end of the year. I’m sure many of you feel the same way!
Here are a few important reminders and upcoming dates:
• Winter Break: 12/24/25 ~ 1/2/26
• Pre-K Open House: Friday, 12/12/25
Children born in 2022 will be entering our Pre-K program.
Even if your child is not of Pre-K age yet, you are warmly welcome to attend if you would like to learn more in advance.
• Daily Sign-In: Please remember to sign in every morning.
As we move into colder weather, daily health checks become even more important.
• Hand Towels: Please send a hand towel every Monday so we can keep our hygiene routines consistent.
December is busy school month, and the entire month is filled with a warm and joyful holiday spirit. We look forward to celebrating this season together!
