Every Friday is cooking day in our after school program, The first menu was the egg salad sandwich. Ms.Esther made this cute recipe book for the cooking program (Little Kitchen). The apprentices peeled the boiled eggs. Ms.Esther taught them to C.R.P. (crack it, roll it, and peel it). The children worked on it very seriously. The next step was to crush them up! After putting a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of crushed onion, they mixed it well and spread it on the whole wheat bread. Last but not least, they decorated it with the animal puzzle bread cutter. "It is actually very yummy!" The children were amazed at their food and I didn't even have time to take a picture of them eating. Lol!
**We use the recipes from a variety of sources. This one is from Kidstir. Comments are closed.
