Our 4th project of Eric Carle Study was Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me. Its lovely illustration and the words drew the children's attention immediately. The materials for this project were the coffee filters, popsicle sticks, straws, and the children's pictures that looked like they were climbing (we didn't have the pictures of the daddies so the children used their own photos for the project). Hmm..how should I make the ladder..? The children liked the idea that they could reach the moon by climbing on the ladder. The photos of them were the fun element of their work and it was interesting how the children's stories were all different.
