Good Evening Little Atelier families, I hope this email finds you well! As you may have now heard, Little Atelier is closing for at least a week starting tomorrow and I know that some parents have reached out to us asking for ideas/activities that they can do at home with their children. We will send you activity suggestions Tuesdays-Fridays, just like what we do at school, so please check your emails regularly! Hope you can enjoy this time and make it as a memory making time with your children. For the first activity, how about making homemade playdough at home? This is how we make our playdough with the children at school. They love to play with it and we had such a great time making it from scratch. It is very simple if you have the ingredients. You will need: 2 cups of flour 1 cup of salt 1 teaspoon cream of tarter 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon food coloring 2 cups water a drop of your favorite essential oil Directions: Mix ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat, when cool to the touch, knead until soft and then form into balls. Store in an airtight container or bag when not in use. You don’t have to use essential oils in this recipe, I just love the way it makes the play-doh smell. source:https://www.housewifeeclectic.com/worlds-best-homemade-play-doh/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+HousewifeEclectic+(Housewife+Eclectic) Comments are closed.
